    Laparoscopic Surgery for Endometriosis

Endometriosis can cause painful periods, pelvic pain, and difficulty conceiving - but for many women it goes years without diagnosis. Laparoscopic surgery is the gold-standard way to confirm endometriosis and treat it in the same procedure. Our approach focuses on careful removal of disease while preserving your reproductive organs and your fertility.

    01

    Symptom Review & Imaging

A detailed conversation about your symptoms - period pain, pelvic pain, pain during intimacy, difficulty conceiving. Combined with ultrasound or MRI to map likely areas of disease before surgery.

    02

    Pre-Procedure Evaluation

Routine pre-anaesthesia checks. Ovarian reserve (AMH) is measured beforehand - important for planning a fertility-preserving surgery.

    03

    Anaesthesia

    General anaesthesia.

    04

    Laparoscopic Access

Three to four small keyhole incisions. High-definition 3D laparoscopy gives the surgeon the precision needed to identify even subtle endometriotic deposits.

    05

    Confirm and Stage

The pelvis is carefully inspected. Endometriotic deposits, scarring, and any chocolate cysts are mapped and the disease is staged. This is the moment endometriosis is finally confirmed for many patients.

    06

    Excision and Treatment

Endometriotic deposits are precisely excised or ablated. Chocolate cysts are removed using fertility-preserving technique to protect ovarian tissue and egg reserve. Adhesions are released to restore normal anatomy.

    07

    Day-Care Recovery

Short observation, same-day discharge for most patients. Light activity within 5 to 7 days; office routine in 1 to 2 weeks.

    08

    Fertility Window & Follow-Up

After endometriosis surgery, there is an important fertility window when conception chances are improved. Your doctor will discuss timeline and next steps - natural trying, IUI, or IVF, depending on your case.
