Dr. Charmila Ayyavoo

Dr. Charmila Ayyavoo is one of South India's most influential voices in IVF, reproductive medicine, and women's health - with over 29 years of clinical practice. As Director of Aditi Pluro Fertility and IVF in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, she leads a practice that combines evidence-based science with deep empathy.

Her clinical expertise spans assisted reproduction, IVF, high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, adolescent reproductive health, PCOS management, and maternal safety/preterm labour care. Across her career she has performed 500+ IVF cycles and assisted 5,000+ deliveries.

Dr. Charmila holds significant national leadership roles across FOGSI, ICOG, the PCOS Society of India, and UNICEF-collaborative projects - focused on shaping policy, training medical professionals, and improving maternal outcomes across both urban and rural India.
